Powell’s Books was forced to close during the pandemic, and needed a Hail Mary idea to help ward off fatal blows from Amazon. We made Powell’s by Powell’s, a real perfume that gives the Powell’s experience without having to actually be there. Since the released in November 2020, it’s sold out twice.
